Post Camino

Fisterra to Santiago de Compostela via Muxia

We're back in Santiago. This morning we left Fisterra by car and went up to Muxia before coming on to Santiago. It was an interesting drive and being able to see Muxia was a bonus. And Santiago is busy today - easily double the number of people that were here a week ago but most appeared to be tourists with pilgrims mixed in with them. It is fun to be back in Santiago for a couple nights.

Last shot of old castle in Fisterra this morning.

And the bell tower beside the church.

The rocks immediately below the church.

The 0 km marker for those who walk from Santiago or Fisterra.

Then we arrived back in Santiago...

...and had fun showing all the excitement of finishing our Camino Francés that we were unable to show last week due to our mixed emotions - today we were simply enjoying everything 😀

Where we're staying tonight and tomorrow night...
...and looking up our street to the Cathedral at the top.

On our walk tonight we stopped and listened to the piper playing in the archway...
...and walked around the Cathedral again.
