Post Camino

Porto to Lisbon

Our last stop before we leave for home. We had an interesting three and a half hour bus trip passing through a varied landscape: forestry - mostly eucalyptus, olive groves, some areas of cork trees, grapes, kiwifruit and large areas of maize. Also many fantastic backyard vegetable gardens.
First impressions are of how different Lisbon is to Porto. We've yet to get out and explore apart from a short walk late this afternoon.
Some photos from our walk and also from our apartment windows:
Directly opposite our apartment is a beautiful cafe which has a florist section at the front of it.

Our apartment windows are ones without  balconies.

This shop is below our apartment selling artisan breads and baked goods plus an array of fancy icecreams.
Another photo of the shops below our place.

Down at the river front - the Rio Tejo.

We're on No. 28 tramline - this is a view out of our kitchen window of No. 28 going past...

...and out one of the bedroom windows. One No. 28 coming towards us and the other going in the opposite direction.

Another view from our apartment.
