Day 0
St Jean Pied de Port
10 April 2019
We are in St Jean Pied de Port, France, the starting point of our Camino, and tomorrow our adventure begins, we will take our first steps of our pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela in Spain.
Today has been lovely, the whole day was spent exploring this gorgeous Basque village in the foothills of the Pyrenees. Evening Mass in the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, which ended with a pilgrim blessing, then a quick last walk along a section of the old town wall completed our day - our minds are full of what lays ahead of us.
